I’d like to share this heart felt journey that my client has graciously given me permission to share.

I have been in the hairdressing journey since I was 18, opening Tina’s Golden Comb on May 24th, 1983. I’ve witnessed so much growth in our industry and continued to grow with the changes. One of the challenges that I’ve continued to find solutions for is hair loss. Hair loss can happen and does happen to many and for many various reasons such as stress, health concerns and aging. ​Over the past 42 years I have offered as many solutions as the industry has offered to me. These have been in forms of nutrition, shampoos, treatment serums and conditioners that have helped with regrowth and delay in the fall of hair for both men and women’s hair loss concerns. I also offer an in salon wig service for full and alternative hair for men women and children in a private setting. 

In April of this year I was introduced to the newest and most advanced system available, Calecim. Claiming to regrow hair in 6 -12 weeks, it claims to regenerate any existing dormant hair follicles as well as increase the existing hairs diameter by 16%.

4 years ago my client began losing her hair and within a short amount of time had lost 80%. This is so devastating to anyone. 4 years with clinical trials nothing had worked, no hair regeneration and topped up with adverse side affects. Wearing alternative hair had been her only choice until now.

We are so over the moon to share with you the journey that began on May 22, 2025 and I can’t even begin to tell you the tears of joy we’ve shared together. Once a week we met for in-salon treatments because of the severity of loss (it can be done at home). On week 3 we noted the scalp was less tight and had a softer appearance (it reduces inflammation by 30X) By week 4 the tears flowed as we saw baby hair emerging under the magnifying light and the rest is history.
